Ran with my son, wasn't trying to PR. It was his first 5k. Had a great time. It was a great Father/Son run. Can't wait for more. Feet doing well. The blisters are healing well. They didn't bother me at all during the race.

I am so upset! I have been reading about barefoot running and reading from others how to start, to take it slow and easy. So today I decided to try barefoot running, didn't go well, now I have blisters on the bottom of both feet. I can't walk noraml, let alone run. I took today off from work because it hurt to walk in my work boots. Just trying to get my feet healed up so I can run the 4th of July 5k this Saturday. I am afraid I don't have enough time. I'm sold on the shoe revelution. Fivefingers or Nike Free are the only way I am doing barefoot running anymore. Not worth the pain and inability to walk or run!
